On Monday, June 2nd, Bo Diddley passed away at his home in Archer, Fla. He was a Rock & Roll pioneer with a tremedous influence on the Blues and often thought of as a key figure in the transition from Blues to Rock. His 1955 hit "I'm A Man" is a classic that's been covered by a countless number of artists in both genres. He was a guitar wizard with driving rhythms and a hard-edged sound. Modern songs that borrow his style number in the hundreds.

Join me, Downtown Deb, on Sunday, June 8th, at 4pm ET for a very special Blues tribute to this music icon.
